New Media in a New World is a virtual conference on CD-ROM repurposed from video tapes of an Apple-sponsored event featuring industry leaders discussing the subject of new media technologies. Apple Computer found the original video taped presentations from the conference to be valuable in content but needed a more accessible way to organize and distribute the material. Human Code’s solution was to build a virtual conference engine that indexed digitized video through an easy-to-use interface. Winner of three industry awards including a Business Week Industrial Design Excellence Award, an Association of Visual Communicators (AVC) Cindy Award, and a New Media Invision Award.
